Call for Proposals for 2022 ABC Copyright Conference

The Call for Proposals has now closed for 2022!

Session proposals are now open for the 2022 ABC Copyright Conference, which is expected to be held in a hybrid format both online and in-person at Western University in London, Ontario from May 25-27, 2022.

This year’s conference does not have a specific theme, although there have been a lot of developments that will no doubt be discussed, such as the York v. Access Copyright decision, CDL, and copyright term extension. Because of the expected hybrid nature of the conference, we are strongly encouraging proposals from our international colleagues. We hope that the increasingly international nature of copyright and copyright awareness can be reflected in the conference agenda.

This year will also see the introduction of program streams. While it is not required for proposals to indicate what stream they would prefer to be in, the option will be available. The streams are to be:

1. Copyright in Theory
2. Copyright in Practice
3. International perspectives on copyright

Deadline: March 6, 2022
